Parents,
Time will be allotted on tomorrow's schedule for campers to pack and clean rooms, as well as clear out camp bank. Baseball activities will include our 3rd live game slot of the week, a camp HR Derby and our final base running segment. Please note that the game slots will be abbreviated/shorter due to pitchers outings/availability (some may not be able to throw a third time this week). The entire camp will convene at Bishop Stadium at 1200 noon to meet with Head Coach Paul Kostacopoulos for a camp wrap up.
WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE
CHECK OUT PROTOCOL:
**PLEASE NOTE: PICKUP LOCATION IS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STADIUM AS REGISTRATION (USE GATE 5/NEAR THE BLUE ANGEL AIRPLANE)
I have received some inquiries about Wednesday pick up info. We will wrap the entire camp at 12 noon on Wednesday. At that time, we will have 4 buses ready at Bishop Stadium to transport the boys back to the dorm to shower, move out, load up the buses and be transported back to the football stadium for pickup. 2 of the 4 buses will run a regular loop from Bancroft Hall to Football Stadium and back. 2 of those 4 buses will become the airport shuttle (they will be marked appropriately), to accommodate close to 30 air travel campers. Tentative departure time for airport shuttle is 100pm (from Bancroft to BWI).
For football pickup, the first wave of buses will arrive at approximately 1:15pm at the football stadium, and we usually have everyone back to football by 200 pm at the latest. As I mentioned, we have 2 buses running, but their arrival time is dependent on how quickly the boys move out of the dorm. We have plenty of staff on hand to help them load up the buses and monitor move-out. We do appreciate your patience with arrival times. That being said, please make plans to arrive to the football stadium for pickup by 145pm. We will have staff on hand until the last bus arrives and unloads.
Please remind your boys (I will as well) to clear out their camp bank!! They will be allotted specific time to do this on Wednesday morning. I also allot time for them to pack up/clean out their rooms on Wednesday morning prior to reporting to the stadium.
Air Travel Campers: Please remind your camper (as will I) that they need pack up as quickly as they can and get on the airport shuttle. The plan is for that to depart at 100pm. We take a roll call of all air travel campers that filled out the air travel questionnaire. If they arrived via plane, we are expecting them to be on that shuttle heading back to BWI. If they do not require the airport shuttle back to BWI, I need to be made aware of that so that we are not looking for them. I will take a full roll call at tonights leadership lecture to confirm all campers that need a ride back to the airport.
I hope this helps clarify any questions...

Day 3 Report/Tuesday Schedule
Parents,
The instructional/game portion of our day is in the books and it was another productive (and tiring) day for our campers. After dinner, tonight's schedule will include a leadership lecture with Navy Baseball Alumni LCDR Tom Van Dam USN , who has over a decade of experience as a US Naval Officer and is currently the Program Director at the US Naval Academy Center for Experiential Leadership Development. I have no doubt he will have a great message for the boys.
Tomorrow's schedule, while similar to today's, will feature round two of our hitting and defensive curriculum in the morning. Teams 1-6 will be back at it in the afternoon, with their second live game slot along with two instructional segments. Teams 7-12 will tackle the ECourse tomorrow afternoon.

Night 1 Recap/Sunday Schedule
Parents,
Our first night was a tremendous success under the lights...lots of repetitions defensively and we got to see every player at their primary positions. We were able to get times for their 60 and arm strength/velocity reads as well. Primary pitchers spent a solid hour and a half with USNA Pitching Coach Bobby Applegate going over arm care routine/maintenance, throwing progressions and plyometric work. Tomorrow morning, all 12 teams will go through a full offensive segment (including hitting on the field) as well as Part 1 of their defensive instructional curriculum at their primary position. Please note, Teams 7-12 will be playing their games in the afternoon block and Teams 1-6 will be playing in the evening slots. All campers will get their first Leadership Lecture immediately following dinner with Navy Head Coach Paul Kostacopoulos.
